We are a friendly group of like-minded collectors meet every third Wednesday in the month when we have the opportunity to browse through boxes of old postcards with a view to buying or selling.
History
The club was started in 1979 by a few enthusiastic collectors and some of them are still members today. It has gone from strength to strength and celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2019.
Meetings
Meetings take place every third Wednesday of the month (except August) at the Shalford village Hall, Kings Road, Shalford, Guildford, GU4 8BQ. Evenings begin at 7.00pm with a browse through dealers' stock and members' spares. Coffee and tea are provided and these are followed by members' displays or invited speakers on various postcard related topics. Proceedings normally wind up around 10.00pm.
